How to change the submission route

If you want to change the submission route for a case, then you must:

  • First, go to the case you want to update the submission route on.

  • Navigate to the 'Product' tab

  • Then once you are in the 'Product' tab, you can select a new submission route from the submission route section on the left-hand side:

Please note that:

  1. You can only select a mortgage club from the submission route section that has been added to your account in your account settings.

  2. You can only change the submission route up to the point before your DIP has been approved. If you would like to update your submission route after the DIP has been approved, then you would have to message the underwriter assigned to your case using the 'Messages' tab to request that they update this for you at their discretion.

  3. If your case is too far along the journey that the underwriter is unable to make this change for you, then you will either have to carry on with that case up to completion, or cancel the case and start a new one using the desired mortgage club as the submission route.

  4. If you want to remove a mortgage club from your account that is used in an active case, then please refer to points 2 and 3 above. If in the scenario where neither you nor the underwriter can update the submission route on the active cases blocking you from removing the mortgage club from your account settings, then you will either have to cancel those cases or follow them through to completion before you can remove the subject mortgage club.
